A Policy Case Competition
A collaboration between Policy Corner and Hertie School, Berlin
The primary objective of this competition is to encourage participants to propose evidence-based policy interventions that leverage technology and Artificial Intelligence (‘AI’) to mitigate climate change impacts and achieve SDG 13 targets.
Theme: Harnessing Technology and Artificial Intelligence for Climate Governance and Sustainable Development Goal 13
Participation Criteria:

No specific educational or professional experience is required to participate in the competition. Participants from non-policy fields are welcome and encouraged.

The competition will be team-based. Each team will consist of 2-3 people.

Participants can register as an individual or as a group. Participants registering as individuals will be provided a team by the organizers.

No registration fee for participating in the competition.
Structure of the Competition:

The first round will involve a short write-up.

The second round will be the presentation of a policy proposal.
Expected Timeline:

Round 1 - 10th to 14th April, 2024

Round 2 - 18th to 22nd April, 2024
Cash prizes for the winners are:

1st Place - Rs. 10,000;
-
2nd Place - Rs. 7,000; and

3rd Place - Rs. 5,000
Winners will also have their write-ups published on the Policy Corner Website

About the Hertie School, Berlin
The Hertie School is a private, independent graduate school for governance located in Berlin, Germany. Founded by the Hertie Foundation, the school was established in 2003 as one of the first European professional schools for public policy.
